Dragon Pan is a straightforward, takeout-friendly Chinese restaurant nestled in Myrtle Beach that caters well to anyone seeking quick, no-frills Asian fare. Located on Fresh Drive, it operates mostly as a takeout spot without dine-in options, making it a solid choice for locals or visitors needing a convenient meal to grab on the go.

The atmosphere here isn’t about ambiance or lingering over your food; instead, it’s the kind of place where efficiency and reliable portions matter most. Many customers swing by during busy dinner hours—expect a wait of around 30 to 45 minutes if you come on a Friday night or weekend, as the kitchen handles a brisk flow of orders.

The menu is classic and diverse, covering everything from staple fried rice and chow mein to crowd-pleasers like General TSO’s chicken and sesame chicken. The lunch specials, particularly the pork or chicken chow mein and lo mein priced around $5.25, offer a budget-friendly way to sample the basics without fuss. Soups like Subgum Wonton and Seafood Soup provide warm comfort, rounding out the meal for those who like a side of broth.

Dragon Pan appeals largely to budget-conscious diners and families who appreciate hearty portions and familiar flavors rather than experimental dishes or fine dining finesse. The food is consistently prepared, dependable for an affordable price, and packaged ready for takeout, making it ideal for midday breaks or casual suppers at home.

In short, this spot fits into Myrtle Beach’s local scene as a practical choice when you want a quick bite of Chinese fast food that’s more about classic tastes and less about a dining event. You’ll want to order ahead during peak times to avoid waiting, but once you give it a shot, Dragon Pan delivers a no-nonsense, accessible takeout meal.

I was hesitant to try this place because of the reviews, however I am glad I did. We got several things and I will buy them all again, and am looking forward to trying other items from the menu. I tend to be a little on the cheap side, the cost was well worth it.

We tried this restaurant for the first time this weekend and all was very good. We ordered egg drop, wonton, hot and sour soup, Mongolian beef, orange chicken and cashew chicken. They were super busy on Friday night so you will need to order about 45 minutes before you are ready to eat.

Ordered the chicken and mixed veggies with white rice, and it was ready in just 10 minutes—quick and efficient! Walk-in ordering was a breeze, and the food was decent. Nothing groundbreaking, but it hit the spot for a fast, no-fuss meal. Would I write home about it? Probably not, but if you're in the mood for something simple and speedy, it's a solid option.

My favorite Chinese restaurant in all of Myrtle currently. Family-run, efficient, always nice, great portion, & affordable prices. I have been ordering from here off and on for around 2 years and haven't been disappointed once. Highly recommend the bourbon chicken, general tso's chicken, fried rice, and egg rolls!! Not too sure how genuine the reviews about items being "too spicy" or "sour" because my boyfriend and I have never experienced that at all. Also, if you order a spicy dish then expect it to be spicy Make it make sense. (Fyi my fried rice in the picture is darker because I put soy sauce in it)

Went here for the 1st time on Sunday January 4th 2026 with my mom. We decided to try this Chinese place.we did order ahead of time using the phone number. We ordered Pan fried dumplings, general Taos chicken, pepper steak combo with white rice, and some kind of chicken dish. Said they were going to be ready within 35 minutes. We drove from where we live to the store. It is located in th same center as Lowes Foods. Got there within maybe 10 minutes or so and food was ready when we got there. Since it is a shopping center plenty of parking, and place was crowded too! We then paid and picked up our food. We also asked for extra sauce and wasn't charged for it. Went home afterwards where we ate our food. My mom enjoyed her chicken dish, and I enjoyed my pepper steak. My dad wasn't a fan of his general Taos chicken, said the sauce seemed a little dried out. Also pan fried dumplings were good! Would totally try this place again!

Wings (4 whole) and fried Rice taste great at a fair price. Can’t beat it. So, glad I found a nice spot to get wings. Might want to add a few min to their projected pick up time. Mine was 25min later than expected. Worth the wait.
